Today, thanks to Sarah, Text Publishing has released my memoir 'The Boy Who Loved Apples: A mother's battle with her son's anorexia'. Sarah taught me to write.  Through her, I learned to construct a scene, to write realistic dialogue, to develop my characters, to pay attention to subplot. She helped me grapple with concepts such as story arc and narrative tension and timelines. No matter what I wrote, Sarah somehow saw the potential and kept me at it.
